Caldrava Instruments of America
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated August 10, 2026
This Policy explains how Caldrava Instruments of America (“Caldrava,” “we,” or “us”) processes information through CaldravaInstruments.com, its public-source preview, controlled demonstrations, optional location workflow, and access-request form.
Information you provide
Access requests may include your name, work email, optional organization, requested access category, intended use, required acknowledgments, and any information you place in the message. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, classified information, protected telemetry, personal records, payment-card information, health information, or information you are not authorized to disclose.
Technical and security information
Hosting and security systems may process IP address, approximate network location, browser and device information, request time, referring page, requested route, response status, and security signals needed to deliver, protect, rate-limit, audit, and troubleshoot the Services. Caldrava does not use the public preview to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.
Illinois access restriction
All user requests identified as originating from Illinois are permanently barred. Caldrava restricts access to Illinois-based requests using Cloudflare's coarse request-region signal, evaluated within Caldrava's proprietary threat-detection models and access-control rules. The regional signal is approximate and can be affected by carrier routing, VPNs, proxies, and similar network configurations. Caldrava does not request or retain precise device location to enforce this restriction.
Optional precise location and demonstration audit
A controlled demonstration may request high-accuracy browser location only after a separate affirmative prompt. If accepted, the workflow can process coordinates, accuracy, altitude, heading, speed, capture time, a random user and session identifier, and an audit of sources or records opened. The application encrypts the location envelope before transmission. Declining location does not prevent use of the public preview.
Browser storage
The public application can use session storage to hold an unexpired demonstration credential, session state, and your location-consent choice. Session storage is scoped to the browser tab or session and is not an advertising cookie. Browser settings can clear it. Third-party source links are governed by the destination’s policies.
Public-source preview
The preview republishes reviewed public-safe metadata and canonical links. It is designed to exclude private indicators, victim or personal data, credentials, protected telemetry, network captures, sensitive locations, and operational controls. Publisher assertions remain the publisher’s; Caldrava analysis is labeled as non-official.
Purposes
We process information to deliver and secure the Services; review and respond to requests; verify authorization and intended use; maintain audit records; investigate abuse; comply with law and contracts; improve accessibility and reliability; and protect Caldrava, users, sources, and the public.
Disclosure and processors
Information may be processed by hosting, security, communications, professional-adviser, and infrastructure providers acting for Caldrava; by an authorized operator reviewing a request; or when required to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not disclose a request to create an automatic grant or permit an external action.
Retention
Pending access requests are ordinarily retained for up to 90 days. A request tied to security, litigation, compliance, contracting, or an active customer relationship may be retained longer as reasonably necessary. Security and audit records follow a documented retention schedule appropriate to their purpose. Data is deleted, de-identified, or archived with restricted access when no longer needed.
Security
Caldrava uses access controls, encrypted transport, server-side processing, rate limiting, audit logging, and separation between the public publication plane and protected systems. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection. Report a suspected vulnerability through the Security page.
Your choices and requests
You can browse the public preview without an account, decline precise location, clear session storage, and avoid submitting an access request. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information, or appeal a prior decision. Use the request form and select “Privacy or data-rights request.” We may verify your identity before acting.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and Caldrava does not knowingly collect their personal information through the access-request workflow. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information.
International processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate. Caldrava applies contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.
Changes
We may update this Policy as the Services or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented prominently when required.
Contact
Use the Caldrava request form and select “Privacy or data-rights request.” The request will be reviewed without creating an access entitlement.
